P C SEAL (Poly Carboxylate Cement ) use for fixation and lining. It forms a chemical bond with the tooth structure due to an acid -base reaction

INDICATIONS :-

• Fixation of metal metallo porcelain or composite veneered inlays ,on lays .crown and bridges.
• Porcelain restorations
• Orthodontic bands
• Cavity liner
• Metal crowns
• Metal-ceramic crowns

CONTRAINDICATIONS :-

• Titanium based restorations (as cement discolouration occurs)

Features :-

• Antibacterial
• Low irritation
• Adhesive to tooth structure
• Sufficient compressive strength
• Higher tensile strength than Zinc Phosphate
• Low post-op sensitivity

COMPOSITION :-

Powder:

• Zinc oxide
• Magnesium Oxide

Liquid:

• Polyacrylic acid & water

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS :-

• Working time: 1-2.5mins
• Setting Time: 6-9mins
• Compressive Strength: 55MPa

• 1 x 30 gms Powder
• 1 x 15 ml Liquid

• Prefer mixing on a glass slab
• To increase the setting time , use cool glass slab or refrigerate Powder of PF Seal
