API Impression Trays are premium quality dental impression trays designed to yield the best quality impressions.

API Impression Trays are perfect for providing more accurate impressions with less distortion and therefore less errors in restorations and prosthesis. Made of stainless steel they do not flex, remaining rigid and the unique ‘beaded edge’ holds the impression material securely in addition to providing a good sulcus depth.

These Rim Lock Trays are rigid, reusable metal trays recommended for putty wash technique & alginate impression. Unique design of trays offer retention of set impression material, hence reduces the chances of distortion upon removal. Their construction makes them suitable for re-use after proper sterilization procedure.

• Confirm that the tray is cleaned before use.
• Soak the tray in hot water (within the range of 70-80°C) for 10 to 20 seconds.
• Put the tray into the mouth of the patient and confirm whether he/she is comfortable with it or not.
• If the patient is not comfortable, adjust and select another tray accordingly till the patient feel the tray is comfortable in his/her mouth.
• Inject impression materials or silicon rubber into the final adjustable tray, put the tray into the mouth of the patient, and then get the impression.
