Indications:

• Implant placement in the posterior maxilla: Dental implants are commonly used to replace missing teeth. Sinus augmentation using the API Sinus Kit allows for the placement of dental implants in this region by increasing the available bone volume.

• Sinus membrane elevation: Carefully use sinus lift curettes and elevators from the API Sinus Kit to gently detach and elevate the sinus membrane from the underlying bone. Take caution to avoid perforating or damaging the membrane during this step.
• Bone preparation: Use sinus osteotomes from the kit to prepare the bone bed and create adequate space for graft placement. Begin with smaller osteotomes and gradually increase the size to expand and shape the osteotomy site.
• Graft placement: Place the selected bone grafting material into the prepared space within the sinus cavity. Use the sinus grafting instruments from the kit to manipulate and pack the graft material to ensure optimal contact and stability.
