Description

Prisma Gloss Composite Polishing Pastes are water-soluble, aluminum oxide pastes designed for the final polishing of anterior and posterior composite restorations, diastema closures, esthetic incisal lengthenings, or veneers.

Direction to Use

  • Prepare the restoration: Ensure that the composite or ceramic restoration is clean and dry before polishing.
  • Apply the polishing paste: Apply a small amount of the polishing paste to the surface of the restoration. Use a rubber cup or polishing brush to spread the paste evenly over the surface.
  • Polish the restoration: Run the rubber cup or polishing brush over the surface of the restoration at low speed (10,000 to 12,000 rpm). Apply light pressure and continue polishing for approximately 10-20 seconds.
  • Rinse and dry: Rinse the restoration thoroughly with water to remove any excess polishing paste. Dry the restoration with air or a gentle stream of water.
  • Evaluate the results: Check the restoration to ensure that the desired level of gloss has been achieved.
