Detax Mollosil Adhesive offers dental professionals the flexibility to choose between two application methods: direct chairside relining and indirect laboratory procedures. In the direct chairside method, the dental prosthesis is prepared by removing the old relining and degreasing the surface with medical alcohol. The Mollosil Adhesive is then applied directly onto the denture, taking care to evenly coat the specific areas that require relining or additional support. Once applied, the adhesive undergoes curing, resulting in a permanently soft and comfortable relining. After approximately 5 minutes of curing, the relined denture is ready for further trimming and polishing using suitable rotating tools.

In this approach, the dental prosthesis is invested in a flask with a counter, and the Mollosil Adhesive is evenly applied over the area that requires relining. Under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, the adhesive cures, ensuring a durable and accurate fit. Once cured, the denture is removed from the flask and can be further trimmed and polished as needed. The indirect method is often preferred when time constraints or specific laboratory requirements come into play.
