An abutment is needed in order to restore lost chewing function. The abutment breaks through the gum and the fixture which is implanted in the alveolar bone and plays a role of a dental root, and protrudes in the mouth, thus supporting a natural tooth shaped prosthetic appliance. Esthetic Prosthetic System is an abutment especially for forming a prosthetic system is an abutment especially for forming a prosthetic appliance almost the same as natural tooth, especially for making gum shape look like a natural tooth.

INDICATION :

Esthetic Prosthetics system is used to manufacture prosthesis suitable for dental implant placed in the patient’s alveolar bone. It comes in a variety of shaped and sizes as follows, so the user can choose a product suitable for the position applied :

• A Product for forming gum at the initial tooth.
• A Product for forming gum at the canine tooth.
• A Product for forming gum at the premolar tooth.
• A product for forming gum at the molar tooth.

PRECAUTIONS:

• For a patient who wants a procedure, a preliminary examination of the patient must be conducted and inspection of the product and inspection of the product must be performed,too.

• It is very important to determine anatomical boundary and inspect the occlusal state , periodontal status, and adequateness of the bone strough visual examination and panoramic radiograph images of root apex.
• Lateral cephalometric radiographs, CT images and tomograms are very useful.

METHODS OF USE AND OPERATING SEQUENCE :

• Adjust and check the direction and depth of the fixture with the position driver when implanting it.

• If a certain amount of time passes after the fixture implantation, check the degree of osseointegration using a radiograph of the inside of the mouth. If osseointegration has progressed sufficiently, conduct the second procedure.

• Remove the Cover Screw connected to the fixture, and then clean necrotic material and foreign substances possibly remaining on the female screw of the fixture using physiological saline.

• Select an appropriate Natural  Abutment with the following taken into account: the shape and size of the connecting part connected to the fixture is implanted, the size of the upper part of the final prosthetic appliance to be manufactured, and the gingival thickness.

• It is for convenient suturing and also for avoiding an occlusal force.

• Connect the selected Natural Abutment and Abutment Screw to the female screw of the fixture with a 1.20 hex driver.

• Tighten with the light force for preventing a natural loosening ( less than 10 Ncm ) because an occlusal force is not applied.

• If the formation of gum is completed, select scallop abutment with an appropriate height of Cuff depending on the thickness of the gum.

• Connect the selected Abutment to Lab Analog.

• Perform the milling process for the Abutment connected to Lab Abutment, in order that appropriate space and path for the occlusal surface can be secured.

• Use Abutment Screw to install in the patient’s mouth by applying the recommended tightening torque, and the perform necessary prosthetic procedures.

HANDLING :

• This medical device is intended to be sterilized by the user. So, it must be autoclaved at 132 °C for more than 15 minutes before use.
• The product should be handled with exclusive hand instruments and it is recommended to lighten the product with recommended torque.
